Responsible Leadership
for Laramie County
Welcome, and thanks for stopping by.
My name is Misty Tinney, and I am running for the honor of serving Laramie County as County Clerk.
Laramie County has shaped who I am and the work I do every day. This community isn't just where I live – it's where my family's roots run deep, and it's the place I have dedicated my life to serving.
I’m grateful you’re here, and I invite you to learn more about the values that guide me, as well as my goals and vision for serving our community.

About Me.
I am a fourth‑generation native of Laramie County, and I am proud to call it my home. This community has shaped every part of my life - like many of you, I graduated from high school here in Cheyenne, spent many July nights at Frontier Park, and am a huge Pokes fan. Laramie County is my home, and each resident is my neighbor. Like any good neighbor, I want to help my community thrive, which is why I am running for County Clerk. I believe that as Clerk, I can help our community by ensuring our Clerk's office provides honest, professional, and responsive service to all who walk through its doors.
Experience & Education
But why should you vote for me? That's the question everyone should ask any candidate during an election season, and for good reason. We should elect qualified individuals to all offices, people who can hit the ground running and have the right intentions and experience guiding them. I believe my combination of experience and education has prepared me to step into the role of County Clerk with the skills, understanding, and accountability the position requires.
